      Thanks for the reply. I do mean a locked rar File and not a password Protected Archive so no confusion there.
      ALSO YES The Option to Install The Patch Was Ticked. I have tried Several Times to Uninstall and Reinstall with or Antivirus on But Still The Same Result.

      How I Tested this is as follows –

      There is a certain rar File I Got from FcPortables that is locked. When Opening it, it Appears to be unlocked with this version of Winrar But Will Not Let Me Add a Comment to Be Saved. Only If I Add or Delete a File from the Rar Can i THEN ENTER A COMMENTASE IT THE BECOMOMES UnLocked. The Other Way I Managed it with Out Adding or Deleting Was to Use Rar Unlocker V4 by Ramen Software. I Dont Recall Having this Issue with your v7.01
