Volume2 (Repack & Portable) – A program for replacing the standard Windows volume control with many useful functions. The application is supported by Windows operating systems version XP or higher (32 and 64 bits), the interface is translated into Russian and many other languages.

The Volume2 program has two customized modules. One of them is designed to control the level of sound, the second is rather decorative in nature – it displays an animated picket on the computer screen.

The capabilities of the sound control module include the following:

• Adjustment of the volume level of the playback device (system sound).
• Adjustment of the volume level in individual applications or neglected processes. Those. Using Volume2, you can adjust the volume for each individual program/process without changing the sound parameters in the system or other applications.
• Providing the possibility of controlling the volume level by the mouse wheel when hovering the cursor. A specific object (set by the user) is a taskbar, tray, desktop and others.
• Sound volume control by the mouse cursor at the selected boundaries of the screen. For example, the user translates the mouse cursor into the left side of the screen, and then adds or decreases the sound up or down.
• Management of the volume of sound, various parameters of the audio card and the performance of many other actions (for example, control of a running video player or even the brightness of the screen) when using hot keys.
• Performing various actions with sound, launching programs, displaying messages on the screen, etc. on schedule.
• Replacing a standard volume indicator caused by using multimedia keys on the keyboard. The program provides many colorful skins for sound indicators with their own settings.
• Replacing the standard/creating an additional volume indicator in the system tray. There is also the possibility of installing one of the many skins.
• Replacing the design of Windows warning elements and others.

At any time, the user can start and configure to their liking auxiliary Module Volume2 Peak Meter (can work separately). Its only task is the animation of the current volume level in the selected sound reproduction device. The user is available for a choice of many different skins for the picmeter. It can also be made transparent and moved to any part of the screen.
